Sure, but it would make more sense to SELL that 6.9 and buy a shitload of iron dukes. WHEN the first one blows up, replace it... and so on ;)

I bet you could fit three of them under that bonnet, and a few more in the boot, problem is.. how do you hook them up to the driveshaft?

You don't. You use them as generators, powering one large electric motor which is connected to the driveshaft.
